The output is a competitor analysis, existing audit of their landscape, insights and recommendations, analysis of industry trends, defining online marketing objectives, target market analysis, channel strategy, content pillars, paid media approach, mapping out a digital ecosystem and a measurement framework.

Previously head of social media and content at Aqua (now Wunderman), I have extensive experience at agencies. I have clocked up various career highlights such as establishing the MTN Group’s social media policies, guidelines and strategies across 22 Opcos; as well as creating a social media command centre for a global beverage company.

I assist agencies in onboarding new clients and assisting in setting up new teams, as well as working on process documents with new clients, across social media management, crisis management and content creation to ensure an optimal working relationship between the agency and client. I offer training to agencies which includes social media management, crisis management and strategy.

I have extensive experience on various brands’ social media platforms and managing any crisis that arises. I have worked on numerous crises for Blue Chip brands, where war rooms were set up to ensure an optimal workflow between key stakeholders in order to diffuse the crisis in a timely and effective manner.

I assist in establishing guidelines, policies, and crisis management documents to ensure an effective process between the brand and agency, or directly with the brand if the social media is managed in-house.
